The QVC UMPSA ensures transparency, accountability, and recognition, while providing learners with secure, verifiable credentials that support pathways to higher education qualifications and lifelong learning opportunities.
Ensures that micro-credentials meet certain standards of quality in their design, delivery, and assessment.
Reinforces credibility and trust through UMPSA’s quality assurance framework, aligned with recognized internal and external academic bodies.

A qualified provider applies for quality verification (QV) using the prescribed form and submits all necessary documents.
The QVC conducts an initial check to ensure completeness. If incomplete, feedback is provided for resubmission.
The QVC assesses whether the SAMC meets the requirements outlined in the Guidelines to Good Practices (GGP).
The QVC verifies that the SAMC provider has an effective Quality Management System (QMS).
If approved, the QVC submits details of the verified SAMC to the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) for listing.
Both the QVC and MQA continuously monitor the verified SAMCs and their providers for ongoing compliance.
